Poster to spread awareness is also something graphic designer do. I think its a bit part of their job as well. For this project, I had to do a horizontal version as well so included it.
This poster was made to spread good news about a topic we picked. I decided to pick the one about cancer as I already had an idea. I first started drawing the tree, to represent strength and endurance. Then, I did research to find what kind of ribbon I should put on the tree, as leaves. A purple ribbon represents all types of cancer so I vectorised it. I included the purple as the background as well. Finally, I added the text and tried my best to make it readable from afar.
I added this piece because it demonstrates my skills in vector illustration as well as the fact i do my research on the topic. I always try to find more information about my topic before starting anything because I want it to make it seem more personal and well-thought.
