Posters made for game advertisements are basically everywhere. It’s what most graphic designers do. For this project, I decided to advertise this game me and my best friend are doing. The game itself isn’t serious but we both thought it would be fun to put my skills to the test and design a poster for it.
This was really fun to make. I first started with a moodboard to figure out the colour direction and did research on how game poster usually look like. After talking to my best friend, she said I should only put the two central characters on the game on the poster. As for the fire, I thought it would look good if it followed the pink theme I had because if it was orange, it wouldn’t look good. The only complication I had is that the photos of the girl turned out really blurry and I couldn’t fix it.. I still like it and I want to share this because I feel it truly shows what kind of skills I possessed and how well I use photoshop.
